Just the thing February 5, 2018 Reviewer: Robert Wolfarth from Pickerington, OH United States   My wife wanted this globe because her family had a similar one when she was growing up.  We searched quite a bit to find just the right item and are happy we found this one.  She likes the look of the globe because it doesn't have the "tape" holding the two halves together and the fact that is can be illuminated is a bonus. Wonderful globe April 7, 2013 Reviewer: Carole the glob   This is my second illuminated globe and it is far superior to the first in as much that the oceans are black instead of blue. The black background is not only much more attractive since it brings out the colors of the continents and countries better, but the names are easier to read, but also overall the presentation is much more attractive. That's saying something for a person who loves deep blue oceans. Was this review helpful?

MOre than expected, totally happy! March 30, 2013 Reviewer: michaelm   I bought this for my soon to be history teacher daughter for first class room. I wanted to get something tasteful and modern but still accurate and functional. She was thrilled with how nice it was and when plugged in it looks great. Now I want one for my office too!
