Our six-year-old grandson is growing into his better-than-average globe--he has been traveling to Europe for a number of years. We wanted to have him recognize where countries were positioned, and a globe seemed to be the best device. He likes it and I am sure it will be valued for many years to come!

The globe was as I expected. Big enough to actually see what you are looking for. Sturdy enough for our 5 year-old granddaughter to use. She actually asked for a globe for her birthday. Colors are brilliant.
Box arrived a bit crushed so I was concerned, but it was only the outer packaging. Globe was not damaged.
